The riverside walk along the Bund may be busy and crowded during the day, but with good reason - it's simply a must when in Shanghai for people-watching and getting a good feel for the city.

When I had free time during my business trip I tried to spend as much time outside as possible. I walked and walked and walked both sides of the river walk and I'm surprised I didn't bump into people while walking. This city is something...More

Great to see it both in the daylight and in the nightlight; though you should always watch your phone and your wallet

You can see a lot of picture about the Bund, but the most people there are tourists. I'd like to take my friends here, it also has a great view in the night, but with local people enjoy their everyday life.

This is the place to stop to take an iconic photo of the new Shanghai. Beautiful walkway to enjoy the sights.

We went to the riverside walk during the day and in the evening. When the lights come on in the evening it is quite lovely.

Clean and pretty - this area showcases the Shanghai River side and skyline. A Must Do for anyone wanting to take pictures of the typical Shanghai skyline.

Interesting views into the commerce and residential areas of the inner city. I ran along this river a few times during my stay and while easy to navigate, there were still road crossings that required vigilance. Still it offers an alternative access to the Bund

The two things are completely different. The promenade is a nice place for a stroll or walk. Just have a nice time taking in the sights and enjoying the view.
