The Patio Lounge is in the atrium area on the 56th floor of the Grand Hyatt - sitting there you can look up the 33 floors of the atrium. Note - some of the other reviews here are for different restaurants/bars in the hotel. There is no view of the Bund from the Patio. There serve an afternoon tea as... More

Go here for a drink - the view of the bond is superb, and you can see both sides of it. 100 RMB to get in including a drink.

Just completed another stay at one of my favorite hotels. Had a problem with my knee that required ample supply of ice throughout the night which was handled flawlessly with no delay. Shirley in the Grand Club always welcomes me and others back with a smile. She makes one feel like family and is a huge asset to this property.... More

The tea, coffee, cakes and savouries were great .The service was efficient, without being stifling. Sat there on the 56th floor with a 30 floor high atrium above you was rather odd. Its kinda like being outside. You forget there is all this empty space above you. Still, it all became apparent why they have this high open space. Smokers!

Great service, great view, large variety of quality foods, all what one would expect from brunch in a 5 star hotel. The very well laid out playroom for the smallest ones is a thoughtful and appreciated touch that made everything perfect.

The atrium inside the Grand Hyatt Shanghai is famous with its circular layers. I enjoyed my coffee and cake there looking up. The food is standard hotel and nothing special but the location is certainly unique. I think the whole hotel banks on its view and location.

As an experience it was okay the view was okay nice if only you get a good table which we obviously did not. A pricey lounge, but great views during the day and night. At night you can see all the lights in the city before 2300.

As I stay at the Grand Hyatt when I co to Shanghai, I am a regular user of the Patio Lounge, and enjoy the buffets and attentive staff. I enjoy he fantastic view of PuDong and the Bund as I eat. Since the Grand Hyatt has mediocre restaurants, I happen to take all my meals at the Patio Lounge. An... More

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
