There's a plaque downstairs that mentions how the guards kept an eye on the Kuomintang watch house across the street.

I am always curious about the early history between democracy and communism in China, and this attraction offers a lot for me. The house is made by woods, you could hear "Crack, crack" with every step, and I like the sound.
