The chef and translator were excellent. He demonstrated each step and then watched you perform each task. The recipes were easy to follow, the results delicious and will be simple to do at home. I would recommend this class.

My husband and I tried the chinese style cooking class there once and we made a delicious crab casserole and a fried rice dish. We felt very good afterwards and shared the meal with a few other students in the class. The chef was very good and nice and the facility was spacious. We are thinking of going back again... More

Went to Kitchen at for corporate event, people were split into groups and each group was responsible for making one dish only. There were lion head meatballs, deep fried spring rolls, dumplings with meat and pumpkin. We booked in to do a dumpling class and ended up cooking something that really wasn't a dumpling. The menu was a pork and turnip cake and a taro roll. The pork cake was actually a huge piece of steamed dough that we couldn't eat there and then and had to be brought back home and fried. This would not... More

Very enjoyable, well organized, very clean premises, all together a fun experience. Wish we had had more time to eat what we cooked but that was our problem, not the "Kitchen's". Only one suggestion, do not include ingredients that cannot be found in the country your customers come from! Highly recommended!

Went to this cooking class twice, the oven not working, no introduction of raw food at all, the so called chef has no idea in answering question, no service at reception, nobody answer phone in office hours, I don't think the chef is a real chef, better to learn from cook book,

We operate 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday and the office is closed on Sunday and Monday. If one calls on Monday, there is no office staff available for inquiry. Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly governed by the French in Shanghai, the "French Concession" of today is an amorphous neighborhood that is a favorite of the city's foreign residents. While it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area seems frozen in time, characterized by quiet, tree-lined avenues, French-style villas, interesting boutiques, lively bars and quaint cafes that are not typical of China. All of these mix and mingle with local life as Chinese markets and lanehouse communities are peppered throughout. Denizens of the Former French Concession can spectate a mahjong game on the street or get their bike checked at a tiny bike repair store on the way to their refurbished apartment tucked away among Chinese family homes.
