Saw a kind of alternative media show there, with some pretty interesting work. Well put together space. I was disappointed there was no permanent collection on view at all.

We stumbled upon this museum by coincidence as we were in the park on Saturday to witness the "wedding market" (very interesting). The building is quite unassuming but the interior is, although small, surprising. With a sort of "Guggenheim" slope leading to the first floor....More

We visited and saw the exhibition: "Shanghai Flower: Abstract Art by Li Lei." It was a lovely exhibit. Yes, it's not really a museum and much more of an art gallery. There was a great interactive exhibit designed for children but fun for adults as...More

I wasn't particularly inspired to see a grande couturier exhibition - but I was very pleased to have made the effort after braving the rain in Peoples Square to locate this pretty and hard to find small modern building. The exhibition areas are quite intimate...More

in and out of the area every day to see grand museums,
go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied
