For our shark dive we were at the dive shop at 8 am. Our gear was put on board and everyone was checked for all their equipment. Full body suit and gloves are required.

Hi. We booked a date and the trip was fine. However there is a standard no charge clause if you can't get out there due to weather. I'd ask them at the shop when you book.
