We go here quite often to ride bikes. It is paved, but no cars allowed. It is a perfect place to ride bikes as a family. There is a pavilion with a butterfly garden and rocks for children to climb on. Twin Bridges trail has two wooden boardwalks, so they think that is fun to ride over. There are so... More

These trails are great. They are flat, paved, well marked and good for everyone, even wheelchairs! On the Rosemary Dunes Branch, about 1 mile into it on the left (as you are coming in from Beach Rd. Rt 182, there is a new long wooden walkway that does a short-cut over to the Catman Road trail. It goes over marsh,... More

As a local I had no idea the island was like 80% park and the rest commercial area. I love going on the trail even on the days where there's not a lot of wildlife out and about. It's always so peaceful and I recommend it to everyone whether a local or tourist

Nothing special, nicely kept trails to walk, plenty of nature to see. An area for kids to play and a butterfly house is a nice bonus.

We discovered this very nice paved trail acroos from the condo that we stayed at. The map shows approximately 14 miles of trails. Go early as it becomes very hot because of the dense brush along the trail with little air flow. We saw an Armadillo on our walk and were told to be aware of Alligators. Next trip, we... More

As we are in the business of writing about Trails, we couldn't wait to get on this one! For those of you that are familar with the Cheif Ladiga Bike Trail, this trail is very close in its fun for the family and great for new little cyclist! The trails offer some amazing views of the marshes, the bay or... More

I walk this trail almost every day while here. Today, I discovered a new one not on the map yet. Very many routes to choose, all smooth surfaces, all with mileage markers every 0.25 miles. Many shaded paths, plenty benches and swings along all the paths, water fountains and bathrooms at strategic locations. Can walk any distance you care to... More

Wow! Great and smooth, wide paved trails. Don't let the map fool you, there are plenty of ways to do loop rides to avoid backtracking. We started at rattlesnake, went down the camp site trails, across state park road, (closed to cars) then back around to catman. Wonderful ride and they spent money to build this thing in a quality... We walked two of the trails and part of a third. The trails are paved and wander through wooded and open areas. There were more bikers than walkers, but it was not very busy while we were there. You can't beat being free.

This is a hidden gem in Orange Beach. Many trails - all broad, flat and winding. This is an excellent opportunity to explore. We saw alligators and a tortoise. Great for walkers, runners, bikers..... we did the Segway tour and enjoyed that very much.
