This trail is perfect for walking or bicycling. What I like best is that there is a small playground, gazebo, and bathrooms right where all the trials intersect. One trail does have an alligator they call Lefty living in the stream right next to it....More

We love to ride our bikes with and without our kids all over the backcountry trails. The improved trails are well maintained and are a jewel in the crown of the Gulf State Park. If you love to bike or walk don’t miss them!

Pristine paved trails wind through beach and lake. Bikers are respectful, and there are many strategically-placed benches, glide chairs, rest-stops for tired walkers. Lots of shade trees. A no-cost find for runners, hikers, bikers alike.

We walk these paths every day. Several different options in the trails, well marked and paved with milage markers....benches, bathrooms and picnic areas as well as porch style swings. The paved path is great for walking dogs, bicycling, jogging, rollerblading as well as leisurely strolls....More
