Years ago this was a nice serene place to enjoy the delicious seafood and the night breeze. Yet today, this place gives you a horrifying experience once you step out of your car from the parking space. There's about 10-15 people pouncing on you peddling you to patronize their restaurant. Extremely pushy and noisy with one voice on top of... More

Very interesting place to visit with family and friends. The Portuguese community there is very friendly and communicate with warmth and a sense of welcome. At night, me and my family enjoyed a delicious dinner and we were served with Chicken Curry Devil - which indeed a delicious and unforgettable dish that all of us should try when we go... More

Best time to visit this Portuguese settlement village would be during the Christmas period as the village will be brightly decorated. Go for the local Portuguese cuisine as multiple food stalls could be found there for your dinner while waiting for your food to be served don't hesitate to asked the locals about the hunted history of this place.

We have been hearing quite a fair bit about the Portuguese settlement, we just had to see it for ourselves. We drove there with no intention for dinner but just to check out the place first. The moment we turned into the open air car park, 7-8 people started to group around our car even before we stepped out of... More

It was colorful with lights. Most of the houses are decorated for Christmas. The food in the food court was tasty n not that expensive. Should go during Christmas time n can see beautiful lights at night

The way the different stalls fight for customers is intimidating. The dishes are average and the much awaited baked fish is rather tasteless in the stall we visited. Not worth the drive here.

I have been here many times. The place has changed, but the old Malaysian Portugese settlement houses, and heritage can still be seen. You can also savour 'old Portugese dishes' at the restaurants nearby. Good visit, delicious food.
