We paid a brief visit here on a tour of Melaka. It is dedicated to St Peter and the door handles are huge keys! There was a gentleman outside whom escorted us in and gave us a brief history of the church

Walking up the hill you see the old church which attracts many visitors from all over the world. It is a ruin now but still pretty in tact. Within you find graves from Dutch koopmannen from around 1650. Some have a ship on it for the...More

Looking by the pictures and some reviews this church is St Paul's . It's the church built by the Portuguese and it's in ruins now but well preserve by the government.

PROS: - Be awed by the amazing historical building - View the Straits of Malacca from the hill point CONS: - May need a little climb up the stairs to reach it

Get ready to climb up the stairs to reach the church. You will see the history of the place from the remains of this heritage site. Great view of the city from here too.

St. Peters Church, though small is well worth the climb up from the A Fomosa Fort onto St. Paul's Hill to see. It is a very short walk on a path, only a few minutes at most. There are plenty of water/drink sellers at the...More

Hill view from the top and some climb up the stairs makes this interesting. But it's a very small hill, parts of the church are destroyed and it's almost about a room's size. Nothing special.

Nice walk over the hill. St. Peter's Church is situated on top of the hill. Good to see historic church and offers nice view of Melaka city.
