A beautiful church which I have been visiting since 2012. I attend the weekly masses. It's really give a beautiful feelings when enter the church. The structure of the building is simple yet have own stories. Need some maintenance but it has been kept clean at all time.

This catholic church still hold regular masses and the congregation is a mix of local and visitors. The building has been restored somewhat but looks like more work (and money) is needed. Masses are conducted in English, Chinese and Tamil at different times; truly multi cultural.

If you compare this to europe, then this is a really small church. However, if you are talking about local context, it is a decent nice church. We did our new year mass here. There are nice stained glass. Internal structure is nice. However, I will not go all out to come to this church as a tourist.

Beautiful architecture. Nice church, easy to access. Great as you visit Melaka, walkable from town centre or use a taxi or rickshaw.

Less well known than Christ Church but only a hundred yards away is the completely different architecture of St Francis Xavier. Inside though, there is far more to see. We were given a brief history of the church from one of the workers (not a guide) who chatted to us as we looked around.

We were fortunate to visit the church during a mass in Chinese. Hearing the congregation singing, "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing" in Chinese was most enjoyable.

As we patiently walk and look for the signs of the Dutch Square under the heat of the sun, we stumbled on this beautiful, prominent yet not so huge structure located right along the road.It is right across the red wall which states Melaka World Heritage City. We were so happy then, we took a photo of the church, then... More

They may be small but the Christians have left their mark on Melaka with the old colonial buildings across the region. It is interesting to see that after all this time these places are still standing. I wouldn't say this is a tourist spot but something of interest the contrasts the population that actually live here. This is a sleepy... More

In Melaka you can find mosques, temples and churches...all right by each other. This Catholic Church was built in 1856, actually built on the site of an old Portuguese Church. The building is in really good repair and the windows are beautiful.

A must go church for Catholics for its historical significance of the missionaries who came and for those not worshipping - an old church with amazing architecture
