there are actually two mosques located at Jalan Tukang Emas or also well-known as "Harmony Street". I haven't visited the Kampung Hulu Mosque which is the oldest mosque, but don't worry Kampung Kling Mosque is also interesting to be visited. you can easily recognize this mosque by its pagoda-look minaret. this mosque is also welcome for tourist who just wanna... Built on "harmony Street" as there is a Hindu temple and a Chinese temple in close proximity, it us a curious mixture of styles that creates a perfect gem of a building. Non-muslims can stand outside the prayer hall and look in. Remember to look up to see the coloured glass under the dome. If you are not wearing appropriate... More

Make sure you are wearing appropriate clothing before entering the mosque, just like other worship centres. A very interesting place as there's mixture of Chinese and Muslim.

Interesting place to visit as it has a unique design of its own. It is sometimes worth it to visit the oldest top mosques in Malacca and see how various cultures/time period influences their architecture.

Not really in average architecture you are seeing around. I didn't go inside, but as the sun was going down I took some nice photos with the light reflexion..Like the other building, I had to photoshop them, to hide things around who don't belong there, walls awaiting a brush & paint....etc

A nice-looking historical mosque that is a bit more interesting looking at night with the green glow of lights off-setting the white tower. It remains a working mosque with the usual restrictions on entry.

I liked the building and it was in the heart of the touristy area. It isn't a tourist thing and more of a local one which makes it all the better. It is quiet in comparison to the surrounding area especially on the weekends when the area becomes a night market with smells, tastes and trinkets from across Southeast Asia.... More
