The beach is very commercial and beach shacks play very loud and punjabi songs. The crowd is not at all good. Not wort a visit. Instead head towards condolim and Senquerim beach for silence enjoyment. And any nightclub for party!

Calangute beach is one of the popular beach in North Goa. I think it is most crowdiest place in peak seasons because it offers multiple beach sports. Nice place to enjoy in group. But if you need some privacy, take other lanes to enter beach nearby.
