I live on the shore of this magnificent lake and have for many years. 250' feet deep just a little ways out from my dock. Miles and miles of shoreline on this 45+ mile long lake which offers great fishing, jet skiing, skiing, swimming, pontooning and very clean water. Water changes color with Season and changing weather. Beautiful moon rise... More

The Smith Lake area is beautiful. Some many large homes along the shoreline that are gorgeous to look at. Swimming, boating, water sports and fishing are all available in the tri-county area.Trout fishing below the dam can be a wonderful experience.

Smith Lake is the most beautiful lake that I have ever been to. Being a daughter of a fisherman that has been fishing for over 50 years, it means a lot that I would rate this lake as #!. If you are in the area, please take a day and visit the lake and take a boat ride, swim, or... More

Great time for families doing some fishing and boating. With the campgrounds available your family can stay and play on the water. Really beautiful.

We scheduled a tour of the Smith Lake Dam with two teenaged boys and it was very informative. The employee who led us on the tour was extremely willing to explain the workings of this site and went out of his way to accommodate us. It was a good experience and we would recommend it to others-you need to call... More

This is one of the nicest lakes in the United States. Crystal clear water - rated second cleanest lake in the US dammed lake system. Great for boating, tubing, surfing, floating and sightseeing. Rock cliffs are amazing. Bring the whole family.

My husband, children and grandchildren visited Smith Lake Park this past weekend. We rented a cabin inside the park and also had a pop up camper. The campground itself is very quiet and well maintained and our fellow campers were very friendly and generous with their supplies and advice. They had great playgrounds for the kids There are only 9... More
