A small museum but worth the drive. They pack a lot of stuff in a small area. Covers Revolution War to Gulf War. Couple of WW2 tanks. Good collection of guns. Some very nice diaramas. Lots of aircraft models. Take your time because it is easy to miss stuff. Bring cash, they don't take credit cards. Very nice staff. Would... More

This museum has done an excellent job of including a wide variety of military history. My favorite is the 40 et 8 train car given to the State of Alabama as a thank you (Merci Train) after WWII. The display inside is exceptional. Displays are inclusive of every era of America's military history. Every time I visit, I learn something... More

Impressed and surprised by the equipment they have, but a veteran's memorial museum that offers no active duty or veteran discount is a disappointment.

We got there about 2 hours before closing on Friday and there was so much to see and read that we went back on Saturday to be sure to see everything. They have clearly spent much time and love on collecting, restoring, labeling and telling the stories of everything on exhibit. One can see items from the Revolutionary War through... More

The collection of military vehicles at this museum is quite impressive. Many of the vehicles are also in running condition and beautifully restored. The only real problem with the collection of artifacts is that they are limited on space. The museum should expand in order to properly display the collection.

Worth a visit. The museum is crowded but worth the effort to view all that is there. If I am not mistaken, they have a jeep from WWII with a 001 serial number. An imporessive collection of military equipment. Also a very pleasant and helpful staff.

Even if you never thought that you would be interested in military history, this place will change your mind. This place feels very personal; visitors cannot help but feel a connection to the men and women who have served in the armed forces and all the implements necessary to live and function under extreme conditions. The staff are all extremely... More

This is an amazing veterans museum. There is so much history packed into this place. The people are what really make it the best museum though. They take the time to share stories and history with you. Every time we go we learn something new! The kids especially like to see all the military vehicles they have.

So much interesting stuff to look at! My wife & I live local, and we dropped in on an afternoon we had off. Impressive number of US Military vehicles, uniforms & weapons from ALL countries, ALL wars! Letters, medals, mess kits, ... A great instruction of the develpment of the Jeep, includes the first Jeep ever built. Half tracks, tanks... More
