Love the art festival. The music lineup this year was extraordinary. The Blind Boys of Alabama were a great end to a wonderful afternoon.

Big Spring Park is a great place in downtown Huntsville to take kids or just enjoy the afternoon. It has a pond where you can feed the birds and lots of walking area to just enjoy the day. The Cozy Cow is a great place for coffee or ice cream and is close to the park.

After a day of flying I was sore and needed a long walk in the cool afternoon . I found this great park, great for a stretch and light jog. This park is a wonderful place to visit, great view. Enjoy the huge fish in the ponds and grab a fresh breath and view.....

the city is putting a lot of effort into re-landscaping the park around the spring and pond. Lots of Pokestops there. The spring is historic and very pretty. Central to renovated downtown.

We were attending a competition at the Von Braun Center. This park is right across the street and in the middle of the city. A few plackards/sign with Huntsville history. Be sure to walk all the way over to the fountain and steps. (Stop at the Cozy Cow for a coffee too.)

I went there expecting a Big park and a Big spring: It's a very small area in downtown Huntsville. It's quaint but definitely does NOT live up to its name. There's appears to be a man-made lake & a man-made creek across the street. The ducks & fish were very cute.

Thank Debra C
