Had a nice visit- several galleries were closed off for installation of new shows. They did have a nice exhibit of the last years acquisitions- both by purchase and gifting, Worth a stop to see what is going on

Overall the Museum of Art is nice but tiny. I mean in 20/30 minutes you can see it all. The art is nice and it's very quiet in there. Kind of pricey for such a small museum.....

There was a really great display of artistic designs in seating. There were bentwood, woven, acrylic, metal and various compositions of wood and fabric creating seating that covered the past 100 or so years. Quite delightful!More

My wife and I are members of the Huntsville Museum of Art. This Museum has a fine collection of Southern Art (subject matter and artists) and works by women artists. Nice balance of special and collection exhibitions. Great location in Big Spring Park!
