Seriously, this is just a street. Like any other street you might find in Huntsville. There's a lot of traffic. There are several places to shop and several places to eat. But take any other cross street and you'll find similar shopping and dining. I'm still scratching my head as to why this is listed as an attraction. It isn't... More

I visit Whitesburg almost every day. Except when I stay home. So basically, it's worth enjoying whenever I am ready to leave the house. There is only one street I travel more frequently, and it has little of interest in comparison. Everyone should take a drive!

The family and I read about whitesburg drive and it sounded like the perfect location for our summer vacation. We packed up the car, got the kids and took off on a 4 hour drive to huntsville alabama. When we areived it was nothing but a road, and not even a good road, full of traffic and police radartraps. Our... More

The traffic on Whitesburg is always terrible. If you are trying to turn with out a traffic light good luck! Don't even try to go anywhere on Whitesburg Dr around lunch time

Why in the world would you list Whitesburg Drive as an attraction? To anyone planning on visiting Huntsville, Whitesburg if just a street lined with retail businesses. Nothing special.

Whitesburg is a city street from Governor's Drive angling into Memorial Parkway. Along it you will find some good restaurants like Bone Fish, CheeBurger CheeBurger, Jason's Deli, Outback, Zoe's, Ding How, Chick-Fil-A, Steak Out along with some local establishments like Duffy's Deli and Hildegard's German Food.

Just like I said in the title, there is nothing special about whitesburg drive. JSmith summed it up pretty when when he/she described what was on it, but it's not by any means an attraction any more than highway 72 or Madison Boulevard. It's not this special street like 5th avenue in NYC. It's pretty sad that Huntsville has so... More
