Great location with 2 buildings worth of exhibits, several simulators and movie theaters as well as rockets, planes and a space shuttle replica out in the courtyards. I spent several hours wondering around here. I did find the military additions to be a little odd.

As someone who grew up on Star Wars and Star Trek, coming here was great. Reading and seeing the history of Space flight was worthwhile. Unfortunately for me, time and weather weren't on my side so I wasn't able to see the grounds. The Davidson...More

This was an impromptu stop on a mother daughter road trip. You see the massive rockets as you pull into the parking lot (about a 20 minute ride off Interstate 65). That day the lot was filled with families dropping children off for space camp...More

We enjoyed learning and having fun at the US Space Center. You get to see a glimpse of the astronaut's life in space. They also offer good souvenirs! A must try is probably the food the astronaut's eat. Enjoy the G-force ride and get to...More

This is a fantastic place to visit. The displays are great and the rides are excellent. It gets really busy here during the summer months. Great for all ages.

As the title says, we felt a bit deceived when we learned that a large portion of the exhibit floor was under construction, which severely limited the selection of space history we came to learn. Word to the wise - check that there aren't any...More

It wasn't bad but there was a lot of reading and displays with some rides and interactive things for the kids. The rides and the simulator were good, my son enjoyed them but was really bored with all the displays and got tired of reading.

If you're running late like we were and everything is closed, it's still worth a drive over to see the majestic rockets and space shuttle.

You'll definitely want to visit this facility. It would be a shame to even travel through Huntsville, and not stop to tour this facility. I used to work on the Johnson Space Center site, and yet I was still impressed with this facility.
