This was a beauitful day even if sun didnt shine for us. Blake and Wes made our day of zipping a great experience. This was the 32nd state of doing all 50 states and this was by far one of the greatest ones. We did both Level 1 and 2. It was a fun day. Thanks Screaming Eagle

This place is beautiful. The staff was great! The guys that took us through the course were very friendly and knowledgeable. The level 2 course was a bit more that what my wife and 10 year old daughter could handle. My 14 yr old and I continued on without them. The staff took them in and gave them a refund for level 2. We will definitely do it again. Level 1 shouldn’t be a problem for anyone

Fun day for a broad age range (late 40s to recent 8 years in our group!). Everyone wants to return. Smaller visitors did not weigh enough to do level 2 so everyone enjoyed Level 1. The guides were fabulous. The smallest visitor did not reach most of the lines to be "hooked on" so the guide picked her up and hooked her. She thought it was fabulous and now thinks she wants to work there instead of going to medical school (we have a few years to make those decisions!) :-) The guides are very good at checking in along the way to make sure everyone is doing well. They definitely made the experience better.....there is an opportunity to tip them - I was glad I had brought along some cash! Plan ahead...they are lots of fun and work hard...we were happy to be able to tip them! Thanks for a fun few hours! Oh, they take some pictures for you but there are lots of opportunities to take your own...if you aren't afraid to drop your phone! Had I realized this, I would have brought my pouch that allows my phone to hang around my neck and taken more pictures!

We had half a day before a wedding at the nearby lodge, so we booked a tour with Screaming Eagle. It's particularly convenient for those staying at the Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge because the Zip desk in located inside the lodge. We chose the option to make reservations online, and fill out the requisite waivers online to avoid delays on the day of the tour. We also paid online. The staff is friendly, funny, competent. They guide you every step of the way. Very good for beginners, but more advanced zippers can choose Level 2. One staffer brings you on a short walk from the lodge to the equipment shack. Gear is already laid out. Guides instruct you how to gird yourself, then check for safety. Everything is explained. Staff is friendly funny, and engaging. Necessary gear is provided, including gloves. Gloves were a first for us, but you need them because you have to slow yourself when directed to, but it's not hard. There are two bridges in the trees to cross, one with a wire to walk, and the other with wooden steps. You're tied in so you can't fall if you slipped (no one did) and you have wires to hold on to for balance. Great views, not too strenuous at Level 1. I would've gone on Level 2, which was a mid-way option, but not everyone in our party wanted that. Three for the price of two for Level 1 M-F. Nice scenery, fun to feel the tree tops under your feet. The staff take free pictures and sends them to you by email. T-shirts available in the lodge gift shop.
