The price is 11$/adult. The zoo is in need of repairs and maintenance. The animal enclosures were not kept clean - some had bottle caps and bags in them. The animals were sleeping mostly - however it was a warm day. The path needs to...More

I had hoped to have a much better experience here, but the heat was against us! Their parking lot was full, so we had to park next door, but the walk wasn't that bad. Someone gave us their un-used animal food as we were coming...More

A great little zoo to make great memories. Very well kept and the staff was extremely friendly and willing to answer all questions. Loved the encounters. A great way to spend a lazy day in Gulf Shores.

The animal conditions do not represent the animals natural conditions at all. Their cages are tiny, and the large animals are very sad. The "zoo keepers" are all high school students. I would not recommend this zoo. Never again.

Small, but we'll run. Animals are visible, but not very active until zoo workers show up. Then the have a blast waiting for food. Animal talks were interesting, especially when the guanaco spit on the intern. Worth the stop, but go early it gets hot

Best little zoo! Kids loved petting kangaroos and feeding the animals. Price was good! Took about an hour to go through the zoo.

Correct. The encounters range from $5 to $10 per person. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children under the age of 2 are free in the encounters with the paying adult.

Yes, you are allowed to bring in outside food and drinks. There are picnic tables available, too.
