It was neat for a quick visit to the pier. We could see fish swimming below us and even saw a shark! Saw some birds up close too. The kids seemed to enjoy it!

The pier is nice, big enough to be able to fish comfortably. Great to just hangout on and enjoy the beautiful beach. Getting a fishing license was a little time consuming and the young girls working didn’t offer much help. Very convenient because you can...More

Stopped for a walk along the fishing pier. For older folks, it may be a long walk, but there are plenty of places to stop and rest. We were amazed at how fearless the Pelicans and great blue herons were around people. Thrilled to see...More

I debated whether this was worth paying $3 per person to do. Was very much worth it. We saw pelicans, herons, a few fish being caught. The highlight was a shark being caught.

You can catch and see fish all year long at the pier and many fishing areas in the park for freshwater fishing. This week is very busy because of spring break but next week and the week after will be great!

I would not crab from the pier it's too far from the water....you can crab on the beach with a small net..but Not with baskets. The best place to crab is at the wier, but you have to use chicken on a string.

It depends on several factors. Oxygen in the water, bait, weather, tide and temperature. Usually crabbing in the park is good
