If you are a train buff or want to show your young ones a truly amazing model train exhibit this is not to be missed. Best part it's open and free to the public. The volunteers even let the little one drive the trains.

Great place to take the family. The exhibit room was outstanding with a written overview of each item. The staff was very helpful. On certain days of the week they cater to children. They also have a locomotive and coal tender on display. Very nice place to spend some time there.

Fantastic model trains and nostalgic model towns in great detail. My son and I visit every time we come to the beach. Young children especially love to watch the model trains go through tunnels and across Bridges and through towns. Many industries are represented too with cranes and machinery. Outside are several real rail cars for the children to climb... More

A free attraction and a good break for all when you have spent other days down at the beach along the Gulf. We had a rainy day so went there. There is a Books-A-Million store as well about 5 miles South on highway 59 that is a good rain day visit.

This museum was worth the trip to Foley. They are only open on certain days, so you need to check that out before going. It was so well done --- we were really impressed! And free on top of it!!

The miniature Railroad Museum is great if you're a railroad buff the craftsmanship that went into the functioning miniature Railroad is excellent and the surrounding static displays took a lot of work the entire park is beautiful and so if you're in the area and you like Railroad you will enjoy this immensely

A friend told us about this railroad museum in Foley. It is a huge train setup that takes up the whole room. The tracks were primarily 0-gauge. The layout was of a town which included everything-homes, circus, drive-in movie, cars, trucks, school, and even a building on fire. There were several tracks and the trains were all running. There was... More

Make sure you go on days where you can see the miniature train village. So awesome. Full of detail! There are little and big trains to view. Lots of picture opportunities!
