After driving for several hours I wanted a place to stretch my legs. The paved walkways and beautiful paths that circled the lakes were what I needed. The blue heron was an extra treat.

Well landscaped, mostly in the sunshine but there is a wooded area and also benches for resting. It's fairly level so easy even for older walkers.

The lady that this place is named after loved living there. She wanted everyone else to have the opportunity to enjoy this spot also. Great walking (and you can bring your pet) and just relaxing by sitting a bench resting or reading.

Beautiful Park and former horse farm, donated to the City and made into a park. Has adjacent Children's Museum. Close to shopping but has a out in the country feel.

The grounds are usually very well-kempt and clean. This is a good place to walk, run, or jog, let the kids play, and enjoy the scenic outdoors.

There is a small area near the playground and a covered place over the pond area. I have seen people have small parties. I don't believe it costs anything. Might be a little crowded.
