We went to get information on the area and things to do. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful in pointing out places to see and eat. The facility was clean and had some interesting displays.

Right on the Tennessee river! The camp ground is very nice. They don't take reservations so come early!

I visit McFarland quite frequently. We've camped in the RV park many times. We've run 5Ks with friends. We've enjoyed the restaurant in the marina. We've strolled along the river and fished from the dock. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions. Tent camping...More

I walk my dogs at McFarland frequently. Most of the time there aren't too many people around. There's public restrooms, a couple pavilions that can be rented fairly cheaply, small beach area, camp groups and a fishing pier. On the other side there is a...More

This is a very good park for this area. The marina is very good and has transient docks as well as long term. The Rv park is right on the river in a very quite and peaceful back section of the park.

Great place for a picnic along the river or better yet, eat at the restaurant at the adjacent marina. Good food. Good view. Took my mother for a nice relaxing day to Florence. This was a nice ending to a great day!

We're staying in the campgrounds and have the most beautiful view across the Tennessee River. It's crowded and there are tons of families picnicking in the park, boats running up the river, and right now the sky is blue and we have just a little...More

No. You wouldn't be able to swim in this area as it is directly on the Tennessee River, not the lake portion. I did see people skiing, though. I don't know much about Wilson Lake, but ask about this section. If you are... More

Yes, I'm sure they do. I have seen them there before. The Florence Tourism Office is located there on the way to the campsites. The phone number is 256-740-4141. If you call, they can give you the information you need.
