We were so ready to find the little hidden gem of a pond that is inside the sanctuary, but we were quick to go in take a few pictures and get out when we seen the "Do Not Feed the Alligators" sign.

We went here because there was one day that it was raining some and too windy for the beach. We had seen in other reviews that dogs are allowed, so we thought a little hike would be great. This place is beautiful! The paths are...More

A 1.9 mile hike with nice tropical scenery! This is a gem on the island. The walking is easy and would make a great running trail. I was hoping to see some alligators, but no luck this year

Nice walking trails, able to take our dog with us! One trails goes across to the beach on other side of island, really nice! Didn't see many birds but worth the time anyway!

Mother owl and her two "babies" were in the top of the trees. Beautiful walk on the trails. Watched the alligator glide across the lake.

Good trail with nice scenery but was really hoping for more birds. We may have been a little late for the spring migration. Only saw three birds at the lake and some turtles. Don't forget the insect repellant like we did!

Great diversity. The trails are easy. Many birds and other wildlife. Some beach access in designated areas.

Hi, George. What would you like to know about this attraction? Are there any tours - ones led by naturalists? Or docents?

I'm not sure about guided tours. We were there toward the end of the day and didn't see any.
