Seems like a medieval castle. Plenty of green area, and very nice to visit. A bit far from the center.

The place combines Nature and History. It is rich in green sightseeing, sculptures, paintings, documents, maps, ancient and modern weapons, armours, wax sculptures (perfect!). That is, a perfect place to visit anytime. I'll certainly be back!

Surely one of the best museum of the world. Astonishing experience. I hardly recommend to come to Instituto Ricardo Brennand if you visit Brazil.

A eclectic collection of paintings, sculpture, weapons, religious artifacts! Would like to have seen a portrait of Richardo Bernnand. A couple of his paintings and ceramic pieces were displayed. My favorites were the very large black animal sculptures on the lawn.

This is a diffident must see!!! Be sure to drop your prudish nature at the gate. Francisco Brennand has a weird appreciation for both male and female bodies. The grounds are beautiful, and relaxing in a strange sort of way. LOL... But truly if I...More
