I cannot thank the security enough at this temple for assisting my elderly mother with wheelchair and ensuring that she could get a easy darshan. Its helpful people like these who make Kolkatta so likeable.

if you r Kali mata bhakta then a must visit, especially on weekends, it was toooo crowded on Sunday so couldnt get darshan of the deity from front. too much traffic also leading to the temple.

Holy and divine. But too crowded. It is advisable to go without wallet (as everyone -all locals will advise). Everyone right from the main entrance to the temple to everyone inside will ask money for entry, for darshan - everything!.
