The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute is located within the complex of the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan zoological Park. For someone with mountaineering interest, this place is great. All information about Everest missions are available in great detail. This museum has all the possible things for Himalayan trekking.

Took my kids to this place. My son was very excited as I told him about the equipment and the stuff laid out there. It's pretty informative about the expeditions that have been undertaken since the beginning. Should take kids there. Educative.
