A good museum for enthusiasts but lacks proper explanation nor staffs are placed to explanation, you will find difficulty to understand. The display lights of Shivalik peaks are out of order, the challenges of mountaineers remains hidden to public. The museum misses the main objective.

Simply awesome. Collection of climbers from 1900 to 2012 is just fantastic. Statue of Tansinh & their collection of cloths & other things kept in museum premises. Model of himalayan mountain range is very nice & well informative. Excitement of Everest is always stunning !!!!

The history of the many Everest expeditions is explained with several artifacts from these on display . Looking at the equipment the early attempts used you wonder how anyone survived ! Pay your respects to the first person to stand on the top of the mountain , Tensing , whose grave is in the courtyard .
