Devi cinemas is one of the oldest theatres in Chennai. The screens are big and the theatre is well maintained. The parking is cheap and it is a must visit theatre in Chennai.

Devi Cineplex has a great history to itself. Not many are aware that it was the first theater in Asia to install Dolby Digital Sound system. They charge the maximum permissible ticket rates but fall behind in all aspects, the quality F&B, the cost of F&B, dirty wash rooms. the only good thing is the cinema experience which is on par.

The Cineplex is not cleaned very good. The whole theatre smells a bit odd. And the floors are sticky. They seriously need a makeover

The place was really small and there was a strong chemical smell. Sathyam's far better and the people in Devi weren't friendly at all.

In a city like Chennai where we have awesome multiplexes in Cineplex like Satyam, ones in Express Avenue and Phoenix Mall I am surprised that people still visit Devi Cineplex. The Cineplex is in need of maintenance, the entry and exit points are always blocked by vehicles, the interiors are soggy and seats torn. In the 4 years that I... More

I was really disappointed on visiting DEVI main screen after almost 6 Yrs. The last film I saw there was POKKIRI. Then after that I went for Linga. But wat awkward I found is during those times I used to be regular visitor of that theatre for its screen size and the 70mm curvature which you cannot see elsewhere in... More
