Jaipur most sought after tourist attraction the City Palace boasts of history through 16th to 21st century of Majarajas and their queens. Really beautiful with tons of stories and history. The palace is huge with many areas to visit. Having a guide explain the details and history was great but if you read up on the details you will be able to manage it yourself. Skip the elephant ride up to the top. I am sure the elephants are some what taken... More

A modern palace containing royal family history, the painting on doors are the main highlight of this palace. Others are very basic. You can see world's largest silver pot there. Quite relaxing place to visit.

You don't really get to see the actual palace. The weapons gallery and textiles gallery are cool and there's lots of artisans selling products but a bit over priced at 500rs / head

Its one of the main attractions of Jaipur. A must visit for all tourists. Neat & clean and the tourists are allowed to take photographs. Even professional photographers are there to click pics while entering & while exit you can pay & collect the pics. Optional not mandatory.

At the gate, you are welcomed by snake charmers. Many Bollywood movies have been shooted here. Has beautifully curved peacock door arches.
