Photo stop only

Very beautiful architecture, but a photo stop only - that involved crossing four lanes of motor vehicle, pedal powered and bovine traffic!

The building has a beautiful facade, it is full of little windows from which the women of the king saw the exterior of the palace. Very good visit, but the beauty is from outside

The name Palace of Wind conjures thoughts of a beautiful palace with perhaps a park surrounding it, inviting visitors to wander around and enjoy the beauty of the facade. However, it is unfortunately located on a very busy road with just the sidewalk separating it from cars, carts, horses etc. Either one must go across the street to take a... More

Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds is a fine specimen of the exquisite piece of architecture in Jaipur. It is famous for its honey-combed pink-sandstone structure. It is one of the must visit places of Jaipur.

Not a great deal to this palace but the interior offers some great views and colorful light rays. Kind of tough to find the entrance as you need to enter a courtyard to the right of the Hawa Mahal and wind your way to a rear entrance.

For the best photos of this Wind Palace, get yourself out in the streets between 07:00 and 08:00 before people and cars start moving around. Although you can enter the palace from the bazaar, most people don't as it is pretty much a maize of ways to get to a window. The front facade is one of the most photographed... More

I big fort cum haveli which they call palace of winds. Its roof top offers nice view of Jaipur. I believe the wind part is little exaggerated.
