Crawford Market, located in south Mumbai, is one of the oldest markets with both retail and wholesale outlets. The structure has a grand Victorian facade and it houses hundreds of shops selling almost everything - cosmetics, footwear, electronics, food, toys, stationery, etc. Just like other...More

We walked to the Crawford market from the Train terminal. Quite a long walk. The building is very spectacular. The market has lots of nuts and spices, plus fruits. Well worth a visit, but it gets very hot in the summer.

Also, we were there on Holi and not much going on. Further, not the nicest market. Yet, I guess it interesting to see a local market. There is a nasty area for selling small animals. There was produce (fruits) but according to our guide the...More

Hi there, we are staying May 29th to June 6th and I'm wondering if you recall what the avg temp was? We chose this hotel because it had a pool and so few do. Hoping we will will not be too cold to make use of it. Thanks for your feed back:) We are Canadian so 26 degrees is a really hot day for us. LOL!
