Not allowed in but good to see. Reflecting on the past glories of the British Raj. Looks as if it should be in Cambridge instead of Mumbai. Just had a walk by on the way to the railway station and took some pics through the railings.

The Old Bailey of Mumbai. You can walk through the corridors of law and even sit in on court cases. You can see the influence of the Western legal system in an Asian context.

Easily accessible from Church gate railway station, its displays the finest English Gothic architecture . The beauty of the building is supplemented by other architectures from British era which are located in the near vicinity of high court like flora fountain.

I have visited several courts in India over the years, but on trying to visit the Mumbai High Court there was excessive tiers of security, impossible to speak to any staff about possible interesting cases over the next few days, eventually gave up all hope and left.

The building is very old, but nicely constructed. Easily accessible by road/rail. Eating joints are available in the surrounding.

Bombay high court is in a heritage property. While going from there you can always have a glance at the architecture and relish the old time charm.
