I am not a museum enthusiast however, I always enjoy visiting this one. It is nicely laid out and the 2nd floor has glassed-in scenes using clay models to depict various times in Gandhi ji's life. These are so life like and well done that it makes the visit worthwhile. Allow 30 minutes to an hour for this visit.

Gandhi lived simply in this small upper middle-class home turned into a museum. The collection of papers, artifacts and photographs are well worth a visitor's time.

We came in expecting to leave in 15 min or so...instead we spent a good hour or so learning and enjoying the history behind Gandhi and how he lead the country to its revolution. Don't stop on the first floor, you need to see the representations of the different milestones of the revolution. I really liked it.
