Located on the waterfront, the monument is an impressive photo opportunity. Knowing the history of it will put into a clearer perspective. Opposite the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

This is a must when you are in Mumbai, it’s a huge monument that’s worth a visit. It’s usually crowded... but then where in Mumbai isn’t 😄

If you feel you need to see this place - go see it. There was too many people there, so we had to be careful not bumping into others. But hey - it’s India!

Year 1911 is inscribed in Roman numericals on the structure and in commemoration of king and queen of England having stepped here. A perfect place of all kinds of pictures . Family , selfie, couples 😀. Right behind is the boarding point for boat rides....More

What a place of Mumbai is this. I always spent here big amount of time because it’s so peaceful & Taj hotel in front of them is ice on cake. Lighting in evening is awesome. Must visit place for outsider to Mumbai.

This is a lovely place for a photo stop. We spent a short time there as it was across the street from our hotel. It was always extremely crowded and there were many beggars so it was kind of uncomfortable to spend time there.
