Located on the waterfront, the monument is an impressive photo opportunity. Knowing the history of it will put into a clearer perspective. Opposite the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

This is a lovely place for a photo stop. We spent a short time there as it was across the street from our hotel. It was always extremely crowded and there were many beggars so it was kind of uncomfortable to spend time there.
This was out introduction to Mumbai and India. We could see this from our hotel room. Interesting historical part of India!
