You can see the statue of Maharaja at the intersection of Victor Albert and Ashoka Road. Right near the Mysore Palace.
If you picture the stature well you will have Palace in the backdrop.
Lovely to take photo day time and even when its lit.

An okay statue of Maharaja Chamarajendar Wodeyar
Nov 2019
This statue stands in tribute to the Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar X of Mysore. He is known for his patronage of science, music and arts, with many buildings and educational institution having been created during his 30 something year reign.

This statue stands under a pavilion in the middle of a busy roundabout where only the brave would even attempt to get close enough to get a close up look. The statue depicts the Maharaja in his royal regalia and with both his hands resting on a knife held on his belt.

It looks okay.

Well kept statue in between a busy Mysore junction. Can be seen at day or night. Not particularly interesting for children but can be visited.

You need not plan for it. U can view this just when you go to visit palace, or take a city round so this can be covered

Nice Statue
Oct 2018 • Couples
This is a very nice statue of Maharaja Chamarajendar Wodyear which is located centrally in Mysore forming a major traffic junction. The statue is very well lit at night and enhances the overall ambiance of the main part of the city.

Statue in a busy roundabout
Feb 2019 • Couples
It’s a statue in a busy roundabout with a lot of traffic, there’s no way to get close and there’s a fence around it anyhow. Maybe this has historical significance but it’s hard to see anything.

A lighted statue
Feb 2019 • Couples
It is a statue. It is nice to see at night but otherwise doesn't seem special. The nearby palace is much more interesting.
