A must visit attraction. You have to remove your shoes before you can enter the palace. I wish other palaces in India adopted that. You also have wifi audio to help you as a guide but sometimes due to network the signal is lost mid way. One should wait for the evening to see the beauty

Mysore palace is one of the top attractions to visit in Mysore and it is worth all the hype. The grounds are well maintained with several temples all around. Before entering the palace you need to deposit your shoes. The palace had several beautiful areas and paintings and I would recommend a guide to know about the intricacies of the place. Must visit when in Mysore.

It is indeed a magnificent palace in the heart of Mysuru over a century old & built by the ruler Krishnaraja Wadiyar and is the residence of the current family line. It is maintained very well and the public can visit the palace by paying a minimal fees. Yes, foreign visitors are charged a bit more but is still worth the visit.
