The main monastery hall was serene, calm and gave a sense of peace within oneself. Well maintained & neat layout. Sad to note some of the tourists were noisy & did not care about the serenity of the place.

This place is on the way from Coorg to Mysore.. It's all about the monks who practice meditation. This is great for the people who want to know about buddism and their traditional values.

This monastery is well worth a visit, but it may be best to visit early morning or late afternoon. When we visited about 11am it was very busy. We had no choice on our arrival time, unfortunately. The temple with the three Buddha statues is vast, beautifully decorated and very colourful. If you are expecting a quiet, peaceful view you... More

Beautiful Monastery. Its on the way to Coorg. Part of it is under renovation now, so we weren't able to see.
