Situated in town near to the Palace this is worth a wander for the sights and smells that it renders. You can buy lot sof things here from the brightly coloured powders to perfume or vegetables. Typical of the bustling markets that you find in India.

If you’re in Mysore, this market is really worth visiting. You will feel part of the local culture. It’s not a ‘tourist’ market. Nearly all food (not cooked)and flowers, so as a tourist you are not pressured to buy. Fantastic photo opportunity with all the coloured flowers, exotic fruit and characters working there.

Very interesting and plenty of fantastic photo opportunities. Sections for fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc. Very colourful and fun to walk around for a while.
