This place is a must see, if you in Shimla. Surrounded by a beautiful forest and situated at the Top of Jakhu hills, you can see some part of Shimla from there. Once you are near the Mall Road, Lord Hanuman's statue is visible. Now when the cars can go to the very top, there is no issue for the... More

Its a great place to visit. Have a nice uphill trek of ~30 min, not the best of scenery nevertheless a good one. Can take taxi too. Its a hanuman temple (lots of monkeys), probably highest point of shimla. Also has kids play area and garden area. There is very nice "Under the tree" cafe (similar to cafes in ncr),... More

I never knew beforehand that I had to walk so much to reach up to the top. Though I agreed and we all started our journey. It is truly an unforgettable journey for me now. We were tired a lot. Hell lot. No other way left for us to reach. And we had to reach anyhow. When we were about... More

This is one of the must visit place in Shimla, which is situated at the highest point in Shimla. There is a huge orange color statue of Hanuman ji which can be seen from mall road or scandal point of shimla too. To reach inside the temple premise, you have to climb a steep road/stairs (100-150 meters approx) which may... More

Set high up this was an optional trip as part of a visit to Shimla. Great views but watch out for the monkeys - they steal anything they can get their hands on!

It's a long walk if you enjoy trekking. The walk is very steep, and wouldn't be recommended for the elderly or anyone with health issues. As you reach the top there are many monkeys and and you must be very cautious. However, the temple is well maintained and a great tourist attraction.
