A strange thing to find in the proximity of the Himalayas. Beautiful Scottish baronial/ colonial architecture, and impressive gardens. Has an amazing collection of photographs from the independence talks of 1946.

A beautiful and stunning building surrounded by gardens. Enjoyed looking at the exterior architecture. Very disappointed with the tour. Far too many people in our group and therefore found it difficult to hear what the guide was saying. Unable to see the photographs in detail,...More

Old baronial style building with heavy dark panelled rooms. The guide speaks in English if one can wait. Quite a lot to see in the few rooms which are open to visitors.
