Must see place in Delhi to see for yourself how locals live. Shopping areas and food places mainly for locals. A place where you can stand back and watch the world for a true taste of India.

We abandoned the car about 3 kilometers from our destination, and walked through traffic, people, rickshaws, and chaos. Walked on the most polluted streets frankly unimaginable/ I have been visiting this area to buy pashminas and precious stones since 2000. I have never had this congestion before and according to my friend who takes me there, the urban population of... More

You're traveling to have an experience, right? The narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi are fascinating. The streets are filled with varied transportation from oxcarts and rickshaws to motorbikes and mini-trucks, and, of course, people simply carrying things. The shops are clustered by specialty from wedding invitations to plumbing parts, and, of course, plenty of food. Find a spot... More

This is the place to see the real Delhi! We took a cycle rickshaw around Chandni Chowk and this is the best way to see it! For 400 Rs you can take a 45 minute tour through the crazy Delhi traffic, over terrible "roads" and down quaint little shopping lanes which you might otherwise not venture along. Each Lane has... Had the most exciting time exploring Chandni Chowk by rickshaw. Loved seeing the myriad shops which were so tiny but jam packed with lovely wares. Chandni Chowk lanes are so narrow you can't go by car - you have to go by rickshaw or walking. We were warned to hold on tight to our valuables which we did. Such a... More

It's one of the "must visit" place in NCR Delhi. The pride of India- Red fort is situated at chandni chowk. Visit this place at night if you want to see the 'Real Ronak' of chandni chowk. Best place for shopping.
