This complex was developed during Common wealth games 2010. This complex was used for the Rugby Seven. Now it is a very good modern stadium. It is good place for morning joggers.

The vast plain fields of Delhi University were suddenly developed into world class sporting venues during the Commonwealth Games 2010. It was earlier an open field which hosted cricket and football, but it was later converted into a stadium with proper seating facilities and flood lights. The University Sports Complex hosted international rugby matches.
