Lots of Boats

We saw several dolphins but every time a dolphin jumped 10 boats started chasing after it. I realize that's the nature of it and the guides wanting to get their tips

I have no idea why the tour operators don't agree to visit dolphin bay each at different times. It would be much better for the visitors and for the dolphins. Now all boats keep chasing the dolphins and if you are lucky you can see 1 or two fins. We even so more dolphins while on the water taxi.

We stopped by here on a boat tour of the islands. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins - the behavior mentioned in the previous reviews evidently has scared them off. Our tour guide said he hadn't seen any in his last 3-4 trips.

We were lucky that a few dolphins came out to play when we got there. But honestly, this Bay is so remote and far out that I'm not sure it was worth the $ nor the effort. This stop was part of a tour of different islands.

We made this stop as a part of a full day tour. We saw dolphins but saw more boats jockeying for position. Poor dolphins.

I'm honestly surprised we saw any because of the amount of boats in the water when we rode in. It's a very popular tour and every tour company in Bocas seems to take their group here. I understand why, because we definitely saw dolphins. Part of me worried we'd scare them away or upset them, they weren't ALL over the... More

Based on the name you would expect dolphins everywhere but that's not the case. You pay a lot of money to get out there and a lot of time you won't see any dolphins or they are far away.

The dolphin are so playful and fun. We live in California and see dolphin all the time, but in the bay they are exquisite to watch!

Took a tour for 25$ and this was one of the stops. Got to see about 10 dolphins. We were there for 15 minutes.

I have not taken a "dolphin tour" but have had several occasions to watch the touring from a distance. The boat drivers surround the pod of dolphins and it is awful to watch. They surround them, take off chasing them and don't leave them alone. Dolphins should be watched from a distance and allow them to come up if they... More
