Finca Los Monos (the Monkey Farm) is situated on Isla Colon, the largest island in the enchanting archipelago of Bocas del Toro, , Panama. The islands enjoy a steady temperature of between 80 and 93 degrees (27 C – 33 C) all year round, with adequate rainfall to keep them lush and humid. Over the years we have created a magnificent garden with large collections of heleconias, gingers, palms, flowering trees, fruit trees, spices and ornamentals. New plants are constantly being added to the property.

A nice spot to enjoy a pleasant tour of botanical gardens. A variety of flowers and trees were there. We were given a very informative tour. The cost of the tour was $20 for adults, a bit pricy but all in all not outrageous. Recommended to see.

My husband and I have been living in Bocas del Toro for 5 years now and had never visited the Botanical Gardens - which is in our backyard. We always left that attraction for our company that was interested 'in that kind of stuff'. To our amazement and delight it was a fantastic tour. Not only are the grounds beautifully... More

We had a rainy week in Bocas so we decided to go on the garden tour. It costs $20 for two hours, and was a great deal in my opinion. Taxi drivers know where this place is even though many hostel owners have never heard of it. It's 5 minutes out of town. Linda is quite simply amazing. It was... More

I don't understand why this garden isn't in every guide book. The garden this woman has created is a masterpiece. The flowers, wild life, exotic palms are all magnificent. The owner/creator gives a fascinating and fun tour and her passion for what she has created is palpable. Do not miss!

We had a private tour for a group of 5 that extended way past our time schedule as we were enjoying ourselves so much. It was an absolute pleasure to be shown around by Lin who created this magical place. She is so passionate and very knowledgeable and it shows in every corner of the garden you explore. Amazing exotic... More

Loved our tour and so appreciated Lynn's incredible expertise. She planted every plant herself or vicariously and delights on sharing it with all comers.

We did the bird watching tour. It was a very pleasant walk through a beautiful garden. It made for a very enjoyable couple of hours.

What a great experience during our stay on Bocas. Linda is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic; stopping frequently to point out whatever is in bloom or to search for wildlife; whether it resides in the trees or under leaves (frogs). She is truly a marvel and the diversity of plant species on her property is amazing. There is a lot to... More

My daughter and I went on Linda's tour. We saw so many beautiful things, different plants, trees, monkeys. Linda has done a marvelous job and I highly recommend her tour. She is a wealth of information. I do plan to go back. You can never see enough.
