The tour around the garden was free. But of course it was somewhat encouraged to visit the small shop - the encouragement was however very subtle. It was quite interesting to hear more about some of the spices from the local kitchen. And to learn that apparently many of the spices can cure you from whatever ... diabetes, arthritis, grey... It would be nice to wander the garden and learn about the spices. But this is a sales pitch to sell herbal remedies. These remedies can apparently cure everything and have no side effects. The guide kept wanting to tell us his CV. How clever and trained he was in natural therapies. - Well not trained enough to know that... More

Saw a lot of spices as well as Coffee and Cocoa grown. The guide explained all the different bushes and trees growing there.Found it quite interesting and informative. At the end we were asked if we wanted to go to their shop. There was no compulsion for us to buy anything.

Nothing special. Guided through the various spices etc. and then, not surprisingly, through into their shop. The items I looked at, seem similar to that Which could be bought in town for less.

Went to this place as it's near the hotel and based on the positive tripadvisor reviews. Well worth the visit and I concur good reviews and also with the management replies to some of the bad ones (perhaps reviewing the wrong place). Our driver had trouble finding the place as it is tucked out of the way. When we arrived... More

We were brought to the spice garden on a whim and we couldn't believe everything growing!
