We visited this Hindu temple in a combined visit with the nearby Bhuddist temple. The ferry ride there and back was an experience itself.

Naga Pooshani Ambal Kovil is a few hundred meters away from the Nagadeepa Buddhist viharaya. It is a pleasent sight to see hindus & Buddhist worship at each others sacred places here. The kovil is a beautiful place & is well maintained.

When in Jaffna you should not miss out visiting Nainativu. Now road towards Nainativu is excellent and takes lesser time to reach ferry service point. start early in the morning to avoid hot sun. This island is equally important religious place for Hindus and Buddhists.
