Getting there is quite an adventour in an overcrowded 'ferry' or a large open fishing boat. The sights on the island are nice, but not spectalair, you'll have to enjoy the atmosphere more than the beauty of the archeology.

1st you should have transfer by Boat (navy boats are free service / and privert boatds are charge LKR 80) one hour journey in the Indian Ocean. then you should have small vehicle to do the safari (TUK TUK or DIMO BATTA) around the Island....More

Yeah there are couple of places in Delft. Check with 021 221 5211 - this guest house details were printed behind the ferry ticket. Or else get in touch with our tour guide Kino 077 956 8829 from the island.

hi..itz depends..for us it took approx.2-3 hours (excl. lunch) since we wanted to return via 2.30 boat. we just skiped the sea bath too. if you can spend 4-5 hours i think itz better since you can visit every places n feel... More
