It was my first visit and there and definitely not the last. Probably a more structured guide will provide more information than we got by asking very polite nuns. By chance we discovered there is the Kneginja Milica's tomb. Such a remarkable historical person.

The place where love resides. Ljubve stan = Ljubostinja. Endowment of Princess Milica, from the 14th century, today a nunnery. Be sure to visit if you're on the road to Krusevac, Vrnjackoj spa or Kopaonik.

My first visit here and the Monastary left me with a sense deep peace and reverence for the history of this country and troubled history of Christian faith. Beautiful if you like these types of places.

I was christened here as a baby and I would go here with my family on Sundays! It's very peaceful and so full of history.
